When and where is the Come & Sing day?
10:30am-12:00pm, Wednesday 27 May 2026.
The free singing workshop will take place at: The Creation Space, Level 2, Artsdepot arts centre, Tally Ho Corner, 5 Nether Street, North Finchley, London N12 0GA
Who is it for, who can take part?
The workshop is open to anyone in school years 3-6 (ages 6-11) and their families – siblings, adult guardians, parents, grandparents. Adults must accompany ALL children and are responsible for them on the day, including medical and safeguarding care.
What will the singing workshop be like?
The workshop will be friendly and welcoming – no experience of singing is necessary! There will be warm-up activities, fun songs to try out and you’ll also get to meet other children from your area. If you enjoy the workshop and would like to join one of our LYC choirs, there will be information on the day on how to join and we will be in touch after the session and available if you have any questions. There will be a break with FREE soft drinks, fruit, cake and biscuits.
Is there any charge? Do I need to bring anything?
The workshop is completely FREE OF CHARGE and you don’t need to bring anything special along with you.
Illness
If you or your child(ren) are taken ill the day before the event, including high temperature, vomiting or a persistent cough, please do not attend and inform us by phone or text message.

ACCESSIBILITY
Artsdepot is fully accessible to wheelchair users with step free access throughout the building. Lift access to Creation Space on Level 2. Disabled toilets can be found on levels 2 & 3 with Changing Places toilet with bench and hoist. Disabled parking – 10 spaces for disabled badge holders are available in the car park below Artsdepot, run by euro car parks.
Transport
Underground: West Finchley, Finchley Central and Woodside Park stations on the Northern Line. From Finchley Central, buses to North Finchley – 20 mins. Walking from Finchley Central – 25 mins. Walking from West Finchley and Woodside Park – 20 mins. See the TFL step-free tube guide.
Bus: North Finchley Bus Station is next to artsdepot: 13, 125,134, 221, 263 and 460.
By Car: Artsdepot’s postcode isn’t suitable for driving, use: N12 0EH instead.
Car Parks: Several pay and display car parks nearby. Please note the Aldi car park directly below Artsdepot has a 90 minute maximum stay. Streets around Artsdepot are part of a controlled parking zone.
