Published 6 February 2025
The Young Leaders Collective (YLC) is a group of young people in London Youth Choir and LYC Chamber Choir who meet regularly throughout the year to discuss LYC, and to learn about charity governance and careers in the arts.
Find out more about the individuals who make up the 24-25 cohort of the Young Leaders Collective:

Aphra
Aphra is currently in year 12 studying a level 3 extended diploma in music, and also plays the trumpet. She has sung in many choirs and particularly loves A Capella.

Claudia
Claudia’s go to when asked about hobbies is always music and singing. While she enjoys the bass or the violin, singing has always been a large part of her life, from solo performing to being part of many different choirs. LYC has been a really special part of this and so she is super grateful to be part of YLC, doing our part to move it forward!
