BBC Proms Choral Day: Prom 65
LYC will be making our BBC Proms debut in a performance of Handel’s ‘Messiah’ as part of Choral Day at the Proms. LYC Chamber Choir will be joining the Philharmonia Chorus, The Fourth Choir, the Jason Max Ferdinand Singers, Bath Minerva Singers and Voices at the River’s Edge. Conducted by John Butt with the Academy of St Martin in the Fields orchestra and four fantastic soloists, this is sure to be a stunning performance of Handel’s well-known oratorio.

The concert will start at 7.00pm, with doors opening at 6.00pm. The performance will be two hours long, with an interval.
