Britten War Requiem

LYC join The Bach Choir and Philharmonia Orchestra – conducted by David Hill – to perform Benjamin Britten’s War Requiem. Written in 1962, this powerful piece uses the poetry of Wilfred Owen, a solder who fought in the First World War, to depict the sorrow and hardship of conflict.
