Our Voice: A Choral Birthday Celebration
In 2023, London Youth Choirs (LYC) and Scunthorpe Cooperative Junior Choir (SCJC) are celebrating their 10th and 100th birthdays, respectively. This joint concert is a very special opportunity to see three of LYC’s choirs – London Youth Choir, LYC South West and the new-formed LYC North East – perform in the heart of London, alongside the visiting Scunthorpe Cooperative Junior Choir. Join us for a summer’s evening of uplifting music performed by over 200 young voices.

The choirs will perform a mixed programme ranging from choral classics to well-loved pieces by the likes of Ēriks Ešenvalds and Bob Chilcott – who was commissioned to write the title work of this concert especially for SCJC’s 100th anniversary.
